For my weekend trip to MO, I was tasked with photographing my cousins, Lily and Keira, as a surprise birthday gift to their dad.
We walked down the long gravel driveway that ran alongside a big field of what looked like tall grass and weeds. The sun was setting, and cast an orange glow on everything. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too chilly. I directed the girls a little bit, but kept a watchful eye for the little things that happened in between the forced smiles and slightly stiff poses. The girls teased each other, pushed each other, and giggled together as I snapped away.
